There will be lots of exhibitors to help you plan your special day from Wedding Dresses, Chair Covers, Photographers, Florists, Balloons, Mens Suit Hire, Jewellery, Wedding Stationery and so much more.

The event is open to advertisers on the Yorkshire Wedding and Party Directory and we still have some advertising spaces available. The cost to advertise on the directory is only £30 a year and it's a great 24/7 advertising tool for any business in Yorkshire.

The cost to exhibit at The Wedding Fayre at The Vikings, Western Road, Goole, East Yorkshire on Sunday 17th October is £50.

New Advertisers

The Yorkshire Wedding and Party Directory would like to welcome their new advertisers for the 2010/2011 year.

Jane Pearson of Pride of Bride, Paula from Sew and Sew, Philip Burnitt Photography are just a few of the new advertisers on the Yorkshire Wedding and Party Directory. The Wedding and Party Directory has gone from strength to strength since it was launched by Angela Wilson in May 2009. It hosts Wedding Fayres at many of the regions Wedding Venues and is always looking for additional ways to promote the advertisers of the Yorkshire Wedding and Party Directory. It's main aim is to provide Brides and Grooms with all their Wedding needs under one roof. With all the new advertsiers on board the forthcoming Wedding Fayres will be packed with al the existing and new businesses and will be a must for any Bride and Groom to visit.

2009 MEDIA TODAY BUSINESS ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

The Yorkshire Wedding and Party Directory has been awarded the 2009 Media Today Business Achievement Award for services to the Wedding Industry. Angela Wilson, the proprietor of Let's Celebrate, www.balloonsbyletscelebrate.co.uk a company specialising in Venue Decor, started the Yorkshire Wedding and Party Directory in May 2009. Angela and her friend and business associate Sharon Inman, the proprietor of Bridal Oasis, www.bridaloasisgowns.co.uk have worked extremely hard to bring on board lots of local businesses.

Dale Turner Photography, and Russ Jackson from Creation immediately joined the directory, after realising the potential the directory could have on their businesses, and then other businesses, The Vikings, Stretch Marks, Dragonfly Jewellery, Dawn Booth of Blossom (previously from Arthur Storr florists) were among the first to join the others.

This is the first time in many years that the Mid Yorkshire Golf will host a Wedding Fayre and exhibitors from the whole of Yorkshire are invited to exhibit at the Event.

The Mid Yorkshire Golf Club at Darringon is just 1/2 mile south of the A1/M62 (Ferrybridge junction), ideally situated for anyone from Goole, Doncaster, Selby, Thorne, Pontefract, Leeds.

The Yorkshire Wedding and Party Directory

2010/2011 Subscription Year Terms & Conditions

The Yorkshire Wedding and Party Directory www.yorkshireweddingdirectory.co.uk 2009/2010 subscription year finishes on 30th April 2010 and next year our format for advertising will be changing, the main difference is that there will be no exclusive advertisers, and links from the directory to your own web site will only be set up if you link back to the directory home page.

The Yorkshire Wedding and Party Directory is exactly what it says ‘an online wedding and party directory’ and 24/7 advertising.

To advertise on the directory the annual fee will be £30 for the 2010/2011 subscription year and all advertisers will be invited to attend the events The Yorkshire Wedding and Party Directory organise to exhibit in their category.

Directory places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis with a maximum of 3 in any one category. Please contact me by e-mail first before sending a cheque or to request our bank details to confirm that we have a space available in your category.

If you already advertise on the directory and would like to continue then you have until 15th April to make your payment. After this date, if your payment has not been received, we will presume you no longer wish to continue to advertise and your space will be made available to interested parties.

If you are interested in advertising and we already have a space available in your chosen category, then you can reserve your space now and payment would be required by 15^th April 2010. After this date, if payment has not been received, then the space will be reallocated.

Advertising on the directory will not guarantee you a place at the events we organise, as the number of exhibition stands will vary depending on the Venue. Therefore, it is important that your e-mail address is up to date as all correspondence and event notifications will be sent by e-mail and everyone will be notified of our events at the same time. Spaces will then be allocated on a first come first serve basis. (Payment required within 7 days).

If your business offers various products and services listed in our categories you can choose to advertise in one category or in lots of categories. Each category listing will cost £30. You will only be invited to exhibit at the Wedding Fayes in the categories you advertise in.

My aim is to get the directory into 'Yorkshire' and the cost of our events will vary depending on how much the Venue charges us and the projected advertising costs for that specific event.

I would also like to visit other events and exhibit as ‘The Yorkshire Wedding and Party Directory’ handing out goody bags with all our business cards and brochures in them. Obviously the fee to participate in this would be dependent on the fee the directory is charged to exhibit and the freebies we hand out. Your help in promoting the directory at these events would be welcome.

Wording/photos/logo's to be sent via e-mail for your advert and I will endeavour to use colours and typefaces to match your existing leaflets/brochures (within the web site design tools we have available).

LINKS from The Yorkshire Wedding and Party Directory to your web site will only be set up if you link back to the directory home page and the link is in your top 5 links.

Angela Wilson from Let's Celebrate has over 14 years experience in the helium balloon and wedding and party industry Let's Celebrate are based in Goole, East Yorkshire, but travel throughout the Yorkshire area especially Thorne, Doncaster, Hull, Howden, and Selby.

They offer an excellent range of wedding table centrepieces, including Lily Vase Table Cebtrepieces and Ball Vase Table Centrepieces, and Cylinder Vase Table Centrepieces for hire. You can hire the vases on their own for you to fill with flowers or other appropriate fillings. Or, Angela can complete the finished look for you, with their mirror plates, flora lights, crystal accents or deco beads.

Since all the services on offer by Let's Celebrate is mailly done on site at your chosen Venue, they have no reason for large costly premises. Although Angela is not there everyday, Dawn Booth from BLOSSOM is able to make appointments for you to see Angela either back at BLOSSOM or your venue or even in the comfort of your own home.
